B.N.M Institute of Technology (also known as Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Institute of Technology) is a Bangalore-based autonomous private technical co-educational engineering education institution. It was founded in 2001 and is linked with Belgaum's Visvesvaraya Technological University.

The trust Bhageerathi Bai Narayana Rao Maanay Charities created BNMEI - B.N.M. Educational Institutions in 1972. Shri. N. Raghunath Rao Maanay, the Managing Trustee, and Prof. Sunanda P Jadhav, the founder Secretary and Princi pal, formed the school with a precise aim to provide value-based excellent education to all people, regardless of their social, economical, or religious position.

Admission to BNMIT Bangalore is only granted to those who fulfil the institution's eligibility criteria. For admission to the UG courses, both the KCET admissions tests must be taken by candidates. When scores and ranks are announced, candidates must participate in a centralised counselling procedure for choice filling and seat allocation. The candidates must first register and apply online at the college's website. Students will be offered final admission throughout the counselling process based on the completion of their choice forms, the verification of their documentation, and the payment of their fees.

For those interested, the Post Graduate Common Entrance Examination (PGCE) must be taken (KPGCET). For BNM Institute of Technology Bangalore admissions GATE scores are recognised. Admitted students must also complete the counselling process, which involves filling out choice forms and assigning seats. BNMIT Bangalore offers scholarships of up to Rs 50 lakhs per year to deserving and economically disadvantaged students, rural/children, farmer's and rural/children.

  • CET students who score in the top 1000 will receive a one-time award of Rs 25000.
  • Students who place in the top 3000 on ComedK will receive a one-time award of Rs 10,000/-.
  • All students who score more than 90% in any semester or have a CGPA of more than 9.0 are eligible for a scholarship of Rs 10,000/-.
  • Students from rural Karnataka enrolled through the CET will receive a scholarship ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000.
  • Students of BNMIT Bangalore who have a grade point average of at least 60% in their examinations and have represented Karnataka in any sport are offered a scholarship of Rs 25,000/-.
  • Students get BNMIT scholarships who have a grade point average of at least 60% in their examinations and have represented our country in any sport are offered a scholarship of Rs 50,000/-.
  • VTU Youth Festival medalists and participants will get a cultural scholarship ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25000.
  • Students who achieve Ranks in the VTU exams are presented with 22 carat gold medals.
  • Students who receive a 90% or above in the first four semesters are additionally given a 22 carat gold medal.
  • Those who received 90% in the previous four semesters also received 22 carat gold medals.
