Realizing the increasing importance of Pharmacy as a profession Sri.Y.V.Anjaneyulu, Chairman of Chalapathi Educational Society with his futuristic vision established Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CIPS) at Lam in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. It is located at about 8 K.M. from Guntur Town towards Amaravathi.

Chalapathi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences is situated in Guntur in the Andhra Pradesh state of India. Established in 2004, it is accredited from AICTE and it is affiliated to Acharya Nagarjuna University. CIPS, Guntur offers 6 courses across 1 streams namely Pharmacy and across 2 degrees like B.Pharm, M.Pharm. CIPS campus is spread over 2 Acres. Hostel facility is available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as Math Lab, Auditorium, Boys Hostel, Canteen, Computer Lab, Library, Medical Facilities, Cls. Room, Placement, Sports are also there.

The campus is located in 20 acres pollution-free, picturesque lush green environment offering right ambiance and conduciveness for quality education and research. The College is housed in an independent and spacious building constructed as per the norms and specifications of AICTE, New Delhi
