PSCMR College of Engineering & Technology is the SKPVV Hindu High Schools Committee’s contemporary contribution to the cause of education with a new discipline in the sphere of Engineering & Technology. This clearly depicts the Committee’s keenness to promote education in varied feasible areas. The Committee, a non-profitable academic organization, had been managing schools and arts and science colleges very successfully till 2008.

And thereafter, the Committee expanded its educational services to technical education which led to the establishment of PSCMR College of Engg & Technology during the same year. This is, by and large, the first such institute in the city limits of Vijayawada. The college, affiliated to JNTU Kakinada, made a humble beginning with an intake of 240 students, 60 each in the branches of ECE, CSE, EEE and IT.

An MBA course was added in the following year, making steady progress. In 2013, Civil and Mechanical Engineering branches were added to the existing branches. In 2014, Polytechnic Course was initiated with Civil and Mechanical Branches. Currently, the college is moving forward very successfully with around 2600 students and fully qualified faculty as per AICTE norms with a good ratio.

In only its fourth year of functioning, the college with a huge success rate of students was able to provide quality placements for qualified graduates. Students are encouraged with paid internships from 2^nd year onwards. Incubation centers like Earth Techtronic’s, HBOTS, E-Yantra, Future NDT, TCS Language Lab, IIT Bombay Remote Centre for learning, etc, are also available in the college which provides the industrial exposure to students.

PSCMR boasts of its Training & Placement Cell for giving 100% placement guidance to students which helps them build a long time career in leading organizations. CRT is provided to student’s right from the first year in the areas of English Communication Skills, Aptitude, and Reasoning by specially recruited domain experts. With the able guidance given by all the departments, students are placed in reputed MNCs like Oracle, TCS, Infosys, Cyient, Deloitte, HCL, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, and Glenwood Systems.
