St. Charles College of Education (SCCE) for the past 50 years has been imparting its education in Thirunagar, Madurai. the college was established in 1976, The college is run by the prestigious congregation of sisters of St. Charles Borromeo who have devoted their service to help the underprivileged by educating them. It is a NAAC-‘B’ accredited and affiliated to Tamil Nadu Teachers Education University (TNTEU), Chennai.
