The Tata Institute of Social Sciences formerly known as Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work was founded in 1936. TISS has four campuses: TISS Hyderabad, TISS Guwahati, and TISS Tuljapur and the main Mumbai. TISS Mumbai has two campuses: the main campus and the Malti and Jal A.D. Naoroji Campus Annexe, both of which are located in Deonar, which is in the North-East section of Greater Mumbai. Moreover, TISS Mumbai has been ranked 98th in the university category of the NIRF Ranking List 2023. The ranking has a downfall as compared to 2022. TISS Mumbai Admissions 2023

TISS Admissions 2023: TISSNET 2023 result have been published. TISSNET 2023 final answer key has been released. TISSNET 2023 was held on February 25, 2023. TISSNET 2023 admit card was made available on February 16, 2023. Registered candidates can download their admit cards from tiss.edu by entering their email address and password. NTA started accepting applications for the CUET UG exam on February 9, 2023. By March 12, 2023, the CUET UG 2023 application must be received. Interested candidates may submit an online application on the official website, cuet.samarth.ac.in. May 21 through May 31, 2023, will see the CUET Undergraduate Exam take place. TISS Mumbai admissions are offered in a variety of postgraduate and doctoral programmes in MA, M.Sc, MPH, MHA, MLIS, LLM, PhD, and M.Phil. Candidates with a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject are eligible to apply for the postgraduate courses. Candidates who have completed a master's degree with honours may apply to doctoral programmes.

TISS Mumbai admissions are based on the candidates' scores in the entrance exams. Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test (TISSNET) is the entrance exam required for PG admissions. TISS Mumbai Scholarships

Students accepted or seeking admission to TISS Mumbai can apply for a variety of scholarships provided by the state, funding agencies, and national-level scholarships. To be eligible for TISS Mumbai scholarships, students must meet the eligibility requirements and submit an application form along with the required documentation. UGC Junior Research FellowshipRs 16,000 per month for the first two years, followed by Rs 18,000 per month for the next three years. There is also a contingency grant of Rs 10,000/- per year for the first two years and Rs 20,500/- per year for the next three years.Students must have passed the UGC's National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET).
Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship

The first two years will cover up to Rs 16,000/-, and the remaining three years will cover up to Rs 18,000/-. The available contingency grant is Rs 10,000/- per year for the first two years and Rs 20,500/- for the remaining three years.

In addition, students who are not offered hostel accommodation will be given a house rent allowance.

Students must be from the SC/ST category and accepted into M.Phil/PhD programmes.
Maulana Azad National Fellowship (MANF) The first two years are Rs 16,000/- per month, and the remaining three years are Rs 18,000/- per month.Students pursuing research studies leading to regular and full-time M.Phil and PhD degrees must only be members of the minority community.
