Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC)  Exam Calendar 2022

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of Uttar Pradesh. The agency's charter is granted by the Constitution of India. UPPSC Exam Pattern:

There are three rounds in the UPPSC PCS exams such as prelims, mains, and personality test. The first round is a multiple-choice question and the second will be a written exam. The final round is the interview where the authorities will analyze you personally.

History: S.K Padey (ancient+ medieval).Better to do R.S Sharma and Satish Chandra as well because the range of history questions are increasing day by day. For Modern History Spectrum is good. Geography: 9–12ncert + Mahesh Baranwal+ Map Polity - Laxmikant. Science -Lucent science. Environment- They don't go very deep in that so Poorvavalokan and very selective reading of Shankar IAS will suffice. Current Affairs: Follow any good monthly current affairs magazine like Chronicle or Pariksha Manthan or Ghatna Chakra. Also, the yearly compilation coming days before the exam will help in quick revision
