Central University of Jammu Overview
CUJ admission to the M.Tech courses is done on the basis of the GATE exam scores. On the official website (gate2024.iisc.ac.in), IISc Bangalore published the GATE 2024 exam notification. Candidates will be able to fill and complete the GATE 2024 registration form from August 31, 2023, through September 29, 2023 (without late fees). The registration form must be submitted by October 13, 2023, with a late fee. The GATE 2024 exam will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. Applicants must have a GATE 2024 score in order to be accepted into the M.Tech programmes during Central University of Jammu admissions.
For Central University of Jammu course admissions to the PG courses, the CUET PG scores will be accepted. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the CUET PG Result 2023 on July 20, 2023, on the site cuet.nta.nic.in. Check the result now using your Application Number and Date of Birth as the login credentials.
The NTA also declared the CUET UG result 2023 on July 15, 2023. The scorecard can be downloaded from the official website - cuet.samarth.ac.in by logging in with the application number and password. Further, for the Central University of Jammu admissions 2023, the CUET UG admission form has also been released on the site cujammucuet.samarth.edu.in. Candidates with a valid CUET UG score must register on this site to participate in the UG admission process.
At present, CU Jammu offers various undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, diploma, PG diploma and certification programmes through its 20+ departments and centres. The most popular Central University of Jammu courses include MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech, M.Ed, B.Voc, and, BA. Admission to the majority of the courses is based on the CUET and for B.Tech and MBA admissions, scores of the JEE and CAT/MAT exams are also accepted.
Central University of Jammu is a reputed central university which was established in 2011, under the Central Universities Act, of 2009. The university functions on funding from different agencies including, UGC, National Board of Higher Mathematics, Department of Atomic Energy, GOI, SERB, UGC, ICSSR, DST, IUAC, MSME, EDII, Ahmedabad etc. Moreover, CU Jammu has successfully established the Satish Dhawan Centre for Space Science with funding from the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO).
The Central University of Jammu campus area is 600 acres and is located in Village Bagla, Raya Suchani in District Samba. The university is recognised by the UGC and offers all necessary facilities like hostels (for both boys and girls), a library, an auditorium, healthcare, IT, placement cell, etc. For the new academic session, the university will adopt the Four-Year UG Programme (FYUGP) model. 105 universities including 19 central universities are participating in this proposal of the University Grants Commission (UGC). The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 has advised the UGC to adapt this model.
