• An undergraduate degree in law is required for pursuing LLM from CNLU. (Either a 3 Years LLB course or 5 years integrated LLB (Hons.) course)

CNLU LLM Selection Process 2020

The selection of the candidates is made by the admission committee consisting of the Vice-Chancellor as the Chairman and the faculty members nominated by the Vice-Chancellor. Candidates seeking admission in D.Phil from CNLU need to fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria-

The candidate must be the judge of any State High Court or Supreme Court in India.

Or

The aspirant must have experience of a minimum of ten years of active practice as an Advocate before the High Court or Supreme Court of India. The experience as a Judicial Official or Law experience in the government or semi-government, undertaking or reputed law firm for a minimum of 10 years of experience.

Or

The aspirant is required to have a master’s degree in law with three years of experience as a regular teacher in any law college, university department, or research institution affiliated to a recognized university with the aptitude for research. The aptitude for research must be evidenced by the research work done by the candidate.

Or

The candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Science or Social Science with three years of experience as a researcher or a regular teacher in any Research Institution, University Department, institution or PG college affiliated to any recognized university. The candidate must have an aptitude for research evidenced by the research work.
