Uttarakhand Technical University which is also known as Veer Madho Singh Bhandari Uttarakhand Technical University is a state university located in Dehradun. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in multiple streams. The popular Uttarakhand Technical University courses are B.Tech, BA LLB, B.Pharm, MBA, M.Tech, and, M.Pharm. The university is the only affiliating university in Uttarakhand for technical education. It is approved by the UGC and AICTE. Uttarakhand Technical University Dehradun was established in 2005 by the Government of Uttarakhand under the Uttarakhand Technical University Act 2005. UTU has an 8.372-hectare campus located in the Suddhowala area of Dehradun and a strength of 20,000 students at present.
