World University of Design (WUD), Sonepat, is recognised by ASSOCHAM India Education Excellence Award as the "Most Upcoming University of India" and is placed second among private universities offering professional education in India by Education World. Additionally, the University was chosen to be among the Top EduTech100 in the ASSOCHAM Summit on Digital Distinction: Technology Conformance to NEP in 2022.

Additionally, World University of Design received a continuing award from the World Education Summit for Excellence in Design Education in the years 2019, 2020, and 2021. Degree and certificate programmes are available at WUD Sonepat in the fields of design, visual arts, architecture, business administration, etc. A 4-year B.Des course with 10 specialisations, an M.Des course with 7 specialisations, an MBA in Design and Strategy Management, and a B.
