• Minimum and maximum age for admission will be 17 and 35 years respectively
• Minimum education
  a) 10+2 class passed or its equivalent preferably with science (physics, Chemistry & Biology) subjects with aggregate of 45% marks
  b) Those who have cleared 10+2 vocational ANM course (revised after 2001) from the school recognized by INC
  c) ANM training that is 10+1 ½ years training should also have passed +2 or its equivalent examination students shall be medically fit
  

Candidates should have passed two year pre university examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subject and Physics, Chemistry and Biology

• Passed B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc in Nursing degree or post certificate B.Sc Nursing of RGUHS, Karnataka or any other university expected as equivalent by RGUHS.
• Minimum of one year of experience after obtaining B.Sc nursing (Basic) in a hospital or in Nursing Educational institution or community Health setting is essential . For candidate with Post B.Sc in Nursing degree no such experience is needed after graduation.
• Registered in State Nursing Council has a registered nurse and registered Midwife
• Candidates should be medically fit
