Established in 1983, KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is one of the widely regarded engineering colleges in Mumbai, India. The college is a constituent college of Somaiya Vidyavihar University, a self-financed private university in Mumbai. As per the NIRF ranking 2022, the college was ranked in the 250-300 band in the engineering category.

The KJSCE courses list includes B.Tech, M.Tech, doctoral, and certificate programmes in multiple specialisations Naturally, all these courses are offered in affiliation with Somaiya Vidyavihar University.
