Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology Thiruvananthapuram was founded in 2009 by the Indira Charitable Trust, Thiruvananthapuram, which provides a wide range of business and social services in higher education, hospitality and tourism, construction and information technology over many years. Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology Thiruvananthapuram began its journey with four bachelor of technology programmes in 2009 and by now it offers many more courses.

The college is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and accredited by AICTE New Delhi. RIET offers accredited NBA programmes and will now be accredited by the NAAC.

Under its eight academic departments, Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology courses provide UG, PG, and diploma degrees in engineering and technology, as well as management. RIET admissions applications can be completed both online and offline.

Rajdhani Institute of Engineering and Technology Thiruvananthapuram has a well-managed placement unit that works to place its full batch of over 240 students. RIET admissions are offered in B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA. To get into RIET admission in B.Tech applicants must qualify 10+2 with 45% in PCM. Candidates must also qualify for KEAMto be eligible for admissions. RIET admission is strictly based on merit.

Basic criteria for admission for different courses are:

  • The student is needed to be an Indian citizen.
  • The student should be a native of Kerala or have undergone a qualifying examination from an institution in Kerala or his/her parent should be a permanent employee in the central or state or quasi-government or public sector.

The educational qualifications of a diploma course at Rajadhani Institute of Engineering and Technology Thiruvananthapuram:

  • The candidate should have passed Kerala Board Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination or Technical High School Leaving Certificate(THSLC) or equivalent examination.

  • The eligibility for a bachelor of hotel management and catering technology course is to pass in the higher secondary examination of the department of higher secondary education, vocational higher secondary examination of department of vocational higher secondary education, Government of Kerala or examinations recognised equivalent, with 45% marks are eligible for admission.
