The internship is a training program and in the medical field, an MBBS graduate can gain his knowledge about the modalities and methods to administer health and medical care practices in a real working environment. MCI introduced this CRRI program to acquire skills and abilities under the supervision of a professional to assist the MBBS students so they can practice medicine on their own. Moreover, the real working environment helps the students to know the similarity and difference between the things they study during their MBBS and the reality of this profession. To get a license to practice medicine an MBBS graduate also need to have CRRI which is an important eligibility criterion to pursue PG studies. MCI provides the registration certificate (provisional) to the graduates of MBBS that provide them eligibility to start the internship. After completing the internship the graduates get CRRI completion certificate that is important to get a permanent registration certificate that is issued by MCI. The permanent registration certificate then helps in the issuance of medical practising license along with the final MBBS degree.
