What's new at CIT Coimbatore 2023?

The schedule for round three of TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) counselling has been announced by the authorities. According to the notice, the TNEA round 3 counselling procedure will begin on August 24, 2023, with the choice-filling process for CIT Coimbatore admission to the B.Tech courses. Coimbatore Institute of Technology was founded in the year 1956. The Institute was established by the V. Rangaswamy Naidu Educational Trust with the purpose of promoting professional learning and industry training skills (VRET). The school is an independent engineering institution with government funding. In 1987, it became autonomous. Up until 1980, CIT was initially associated with Madras University; after that time, the affiliation was changed to Bharathiar University. The Institute is presently associated with Anna University (from 2001). According to the NIRF Engineering Ranking 2021, Coimbatore Institute of Technology is rated 102.

The CIT Coimbatore courses are offered in various postgraduate courses, integrated M.Sc, PhD, and undergraduate specialisations. There are 13 distinct departments at CIT, including those for physics, chemistry, civil engineering, electrical and electronic engineering, and electronics and communication engineering. The Institute provides a total of nine postgraduate programmes, three integrated five-year M.Sc. programmes, seven undergraduate programmes, and doctoral research programmes. Admission to the CIT Coimbatore courses are offered on the basis of marks in the last qualifying exam as well as entrance exam scores.
