The library at Indira Institute of Management (MCA) Pune is a fully automated resource centre with latest techniques of operation and services. There is a collection of around 10923 books, 1815 CDs/DVDs free with books/magazines, 75 latest technology based CDs/DVDs and 16 e-books. The Library has pleasant environment and a well-lit hall of capacity to accommodate around 75 students at a time. The Library has a rich collection of around 31 national journals/periodicals and also subscribed 2 online databases for users. Project reports of past years done by the students are made available for reference and study. The Library gets Institutional membership of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Delhi. The library is equipped with multimedia facility for its users were they can view audio visual resources which are freely available on websites like NPTL, online database etc. The library has created the library website to achieve its aims & objectives. Remote access to the subscribed databases is given for better knowledge dissemination. INDIRA has ultra-modern computer laboratories comprising state of art facilities with efficient hardware and latest software. The college has a well-equipped computer lab with 162 Pentium D, Core 2 Duo and i3 computers clients and is distributed in our labs connected to powerful IBM and HP Hyper V server. The computer network operates on Windows 2003/2008/LINUX platforms. The lab has high speed internet connection and possesses a Microsoft Campus agreement. The college campus is a Wi-Fi zone with 50 Mbps leased line provided by Tata Communication. The lab is equipped with 5 system software’s and 20 application software. There are 18 printers and one multifunctional laser printer. The institute has audio visual teaching aids in the form of 8 LCD projectors and one projection TV. The college is also having a language lab equipped with Odll software to develop communication skills in English. INDIRA has one of the finest collections of academic videos & CDs comprising of international & national titles at its Video Resource Center. INDIRA has tied up with Stanford University, Harvard Business Resource and the American Management Association for the latest videos. The Indira Video Resource Center helps to enhance the inputs given to our students and makes learning the more enriching experience. INDIRA has developed the modern and well equipped Gymnasium and fitness center for the students. We strongly believe that to excel in today’s fast-paced and stressful business environment, it is imperative to maintain 100% fitness. Gym, Swimming Pool, Yoga and Aerobics form the key components of our fitness programme.
