Saintgits has an excellent Hostel Facility. The college has separate and secure residential facilities for both boys and girls. It has got good facilities and infrastructure which makes students feel comfortable and find a homely atmosphere. Being away from the city hubnubs, the hostel has a serene and calm atmosphere.The hostel buildings have facilities for comfortable stay with generators for backup power supply. Resident Wardens and Faculty Wardens ensure the welfare of the students and provide necessary guidance in matters related to their academic and personal problems. The ambience of the hostel is conducive to intellectual growth and personality development. Students learn to take responsibility and share commitment in a group. The hostels serve as a training ground for a responsible, successful and useful life through development of the body, mind and soul. It aims at ensuring harmonious, friendly living among students of various states inculcating self discipline.

Detailed thought and consideration has gone in to provide utmost comfort to the students with more personal space provided in an ideal location. The rooms provide most modern facilities and privacy. Each student is provided with a cot, a table and a chair in their respective rooms. The students of all programmes live together in the hostels which help in developing a healthy and cordial relationship among them. Ragging is strictly prohibited. The hostel is annexed with a kitchen & dining halls with facilities to provide food at protected and hygienic environment. The mess serves to the taste of all cuisines. Healthy and nutrituous food is served. Common room with T.V is also there. Hostel has also facilities for indoor games. Internet and Computer Facilities are also available in the hostel. Security guards for the hostel are on duty round the clock.

The college choir comprises of talented singers and dedicated instrumentalists. The choir is guided by a teacher in charge .They actively participate in the official functions, Onam celebration, Xmas Carol, Gits Blitz and inter collegiate fests.

All girl students are members of the women's forum. Students are encouraged to participate in seminars, counseling, handicraft classes, toy making, jewellery making and several other soft skill development activities.

The Nature Club of SCAS is showing keen interest in making the students, teachers and non-teaching staff of the college nature-lovers and supporters of the environmental activities. The unit seeks to create awareness on environmental issues through its activities. Students are encouraged to study and admire the environment and there by understand the need to conserve the nature's bounty. Nature Club attempts to spread awareness about the environment and undertake activities to nurture and help the environment regenerate.

The college photography club with talented student photographers and are guided by a teacher in charge. Periodically, we conduct photography competitions and the winners will be sent for university competitions.

As a part of co-curricular activities, Quiz, debate and cultural associations function actively throughout the year providing an opportunity to the students to showcase their hidden talents in cocurricular activities. The college always encourages the students to participate in various inter collegiate cultural, quiz and debate competitions.
