The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings is an annual publication that ranks universities worldwide based on several key indicators of academic performance and reputation. The rankings provide a comprehensive overview of the global higher education landscape and are widely recognized as one of the most influential university rankings. To ensure the rankings are accurate, the researchers studied more than 121 million citations from over 15.5 million research papers and got feedback from 40,000 scholars worldwide. According to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023, Veltech University has achieved a ranking in the 1201- 1500 band.

Vel Tech Rangarajan Dr Sagunthala R&D Institute of Science and Technology, commonly known as Vel Tech, is located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
