Yes. SPAV has separate hostels for boys and girls. The former has a capacity of approximately 400 students, while the latter has a capacity of approximately 200 students.

The School of Planning and Architecture Vijayawada B. Arch programme lasts five years and consists of ten semesters. The Bachelor of Planning programme lasts four years and consists of eight semesters.

To be eligible for Ph.D. programmes in SPAV, candidates must have passed the M Arch/ M Tech examinations with a CGPA of at least 6.5 or 60% in aggregate for Open/ OBC candidates. For SC/ST students, the result should be at least 6.0 CGPA or 55% in aggregate. Furthermore, the selection criteria include the GATE/ CSIR NET/ UGC NET/ ICMR/ JRF score and consequent rank, written test, and viva voce.
